• Inputs and outputs lists everything the action accepts and returns, generated from action.yml.
• Update selection covers the update strategy, include and exclude lists, grouped updates, and multi-directory scanning.
• Auto-merge covers the merge strategies, the merge methods, and what GitHub requires before auto-merge can be enabled.
• Dry-run mode covers reporting without writing, and the optional issue.
