Hold the mouse button down and move the pointer: the slide dims around it.

This deck sets a spotlight of 90 pixels, and keeps an ordinary cursor visible when the spotlight is off.

Why it helps

• A room watching a projected slide cannot see a laser pointer on a stream.
• A recording keeps the spotlight, and keeps nothing of a laser.
• Nothing has to be drawn on the slide in advance.

As a coloured pointer instead

Set useAsPointer: true and the plugin draws a coloured dot rather than dimming the slide, which suits a bright room better.
